This is my standard garlic bread recipe now that my two youngest can’t have dairy. I save some of the butter for me as I can’t have bread and spread it on my oat loaf so I don’t feel I am missing out… yum!
Turn on the grill to medium heat. In a small pan heat the dairy free spread until melted. Add the garlic and stir for 2 minutes.
Take off the heat and add the salt. Spread over the ciabatta generously.
Put the ciabatta on a baking tray and grill for a few minutes until starting to go golden. Take out and slice into generous chunks.
It’s fun to see what flavours children will go for. They’ll often love garlic bread as they’ve usually come across the pre-made one so it’s nice to give them a fresh alternative.
